Accessibility

We are committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities.

We want our services to be accessible for everyone, so we have worked hard to remove barriers that people may face. We understand everyone has unique circumstances and sometimes people need us to do things differently for them to ensure they can get the best service from us.

We encourage you to share with us any details of your personal circumstances, or additional support needs, to enable us to support you during your case. By understanding our customers better, we can tailor our services to their individual circumstances.

Website accessibility

We understand that extra support needs can impact how people absorb and understand information. With this in mind, we have carefully designed our website and content.

Our website follows all priority two requirements of the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1), also known as Level AA compliance.

We’ve made our website fully responsive to better serve customers who need a more accessible online experience.

To help access our website fully we have our accessibility plug in provided by AccessiBe which provides common accessibility combinations that address the characteristics of a specific disability.  All the user has to do, is choose the right one for them:

  • Seizure Safe Profile – This profile enables people with epilepsy to use the website safely by eliminating the risk of seizures that result from flashing or blinking animations, as well as certain colour combinations.
  • Vision Impaired Profile – This profile adjusts the website so that it is accessible to the majority of visual impairments such as degrading eyesight, tunnel vision, cataract, glaucoma and others
  • Neuro Diverse Friendly Profile – This profile significantly reduces distractions and noise to help people with ADHA and neurodevelopmental disorders browse, read and focus on the essential elements of the website more easily.
  • Cognitive Disability Profile – This profile provides various assistive features to help users with disabilities such as Autism, Dyslexia, CVAA+ and others to focus on the essential elements of the website more easily.
  • Keyboard Navigation Profile – This profile enables people with motor impairments to operate the website using a limited number of keyboard functions.
  • Blind User Profile (Screen readers) – This profile adjusts the website to be compatible with various screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover and Talkback.
