Thought Leadership in Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution

Each year, the Foundation produces innovative projects and undertakes research into ADR, such as our reports on improving diversity in commercial mediation and looking into public inquiries.

We also lead a variety of outreach projects for the next generation. These include the National Student Negotiation Competition and the New Dialogues Programme for Young Leaders. In addition, we spearhead conversations with governments, industry bodies and other NGOs.

As part of our drive to improve learning and standards in the fields in which we work, we also run a professional development network.

Our Foundation projects are entirely supported by CEDR and by our associations with various law firms, organisations and individuals.

Previous Research Projects

CEDR has conducted several research projects which have sought to better understand how individuals, organisations and governments manage and resolve conflict.

The CEDR Foundation Team

The CEDR Foundation is led by a dedicated team of individuals, with support from across CEDR on specific projects and is also frequently supported on specific projects and events by external volunteers and experts.
